Job Description
Apt Resources seeks an experienced Diamond Evaluator to join a mining operations team in Angola. The successful candidate will evaluate, grade, and value rough diamonds in accordance with international standards, maintaining strict documentation and contributing to secure handling and transport practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and grade diamonds using gemological tools and methods.
- Determine market value using current pricing data and trends.
- Prepare accurate reports and parcel documentation.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure safe handling and logistics.
Requirements & Benefits:
- Degree in Gemology or related field; 8 years’ experience in diamond evaluation.
- Fluency in Portuguese and/or English.
- Salary USD 5,00–7,00/month plus commission; accommodation, meals, and 30 days annual leave with travel support provided.
