Job Description
Position Summary:
The DCS Boardman plays a critical role in monitoring, controlling, and optimizing plant operations via the Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure safety, efficiency, and continuous production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and supervise plant processes using the DCS.
- Ensure optimal operating parameters are maintained and adjust controls as necessary.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
- Collaborate with field operators to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate logs and shift reports.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering; 3 to 5 years of experience in DCS operations; a solid understanding of safety protocols.
